An incident in a hospital that ended happily might still involve New York personal injury attorneys. A nurse at the Kingsbrook Jewish Hospital told the family of 93-year-old Ella Abrams that she had died on Saturday morning. Relatives, saddened by the news, arrived at the hospital to collect her possessions and make funeral arrangements. However, they were shocked to find out that Ms. Abrams was very much alive. Following the confusion, members of the family are claiming to have suffered emotional duress as a result of the “negligence” of the hospital. It appears that New York personal injury attorneys will be involved.
