A frightened passenger on an express bus photographs his vehicle operator using only one hand to navigate through heavy traffic on the FDR Drive and Gowanus Expressway. The driver was scarily using his other hand for texting. The incident is now under investigation by the transit authority. The photography “session” on the bus took place one day before the New York statewide ban on texting while driving went into effect. Officials confirm that drivers of public transportation vehicles have always been banned from texting while driving in New York. Personal injury attorneys agree with this policy wholeheartedly and are extremely supportive of the new ban.
