Drunk Ex-Con Mows Down Woman

Tuesday, September 29, 2009

A drunken ex-con mowed down 22-year-old Olga Skibina on Thursday, September 24th, 2009, when she was walking to her Gerritsen Beach home from work. Zachary Kitt, the drunk ex-con, was driving his 1997 Ford van when he struck Ms. Skibina. According to sources, Mr. Kitt, 45, had a blood alcohol content of .25, which is more than triple the legal limit of .08.

Mr. Kitt was awaiting arraignment last night on charges of vehicular assault, drunken driving, and reckless driving. His record shows convictions for drugs and driving without a licence.

The victim's stepfather, Alex Litvachkis, said, "We're hoping it's not going to get any worse." New York personal injury lawyers understand the pain the victim's family is going through. Ms. Skibina was in critical condition at Lutheran Medical center on Friday, September 25th, 2009 with severe brain, facial and lung injuries.
